Painting saltdough animals

Last week we really enjoyed painting our animal sculptures. We thought carefully about which colours we wanted to use and selected different size paint brushes for different parts. We also learned how to mix different colours to make orange, pink and purple, and how to make lighter shades of colours. 

Year 1 are very pleased with our sculptures and will be taking them home this week! :)
