What’s the current situation?
Further to the Secretary of State's announcement yesterday evening, schools as providers of education will be closed 'for the foreseeable future’. Canon Burrows will 'close' at 3.10pm on Friday 20th March. We will ensure that work is set for your children during the time the school is closed, this will be available on the ‘home learning’ page of the school website, and we will ensure that we keep in regular contact with you via messages on the website, email and twitter.
The latest government advice is:
Self-isolation measures: anyone with symptoms is now being urged to self-isolate for 14 days, rather than 7 days as it was before.
Anyone who lives with someone with symptoms should also self-isolate for 14 days.
Pupils should attend unless they feel unwell – if your child has any of the following symptoms they should remain at home for 14 days and the whole family should isolate
