Plastic free week: join the Plog-olution!

Today we joined the Plog-olution! We have been plogging and trash mobbing in our local community!

What is the Plog-olution you ask? 

The Plog-olution brings together communities to run or walk whilst picking up rubbish, making local environments a better place to live in.

Today we took part in a Skype call with a lady called Michelle, who is part of the Plogging community. Her team have set up Plogging clubs and have been clearing up the enviroment all over the world. It was fantastic to speak to her and hear about her motivations for taking part in this fantastic idea and organisation. 

Every Wednesday this term we will be plogging in the local area, picking up as much rubbish as we can using our litter pickers! We made a fantastic start today and filled over 6 bags of rubbish.
