SAW week

Our theme this SAW week has been linked to our topic- World Wars, and we carried out our own experiments, as we tried to make periscopes. We will put some of our written experiments up for you to have a look at. 

We were lucky to be involved in, and watch some fantastic experiements based on different types of electricity, and states of matter, by Explosive Erika from Mad Science and a wonderful science teacher from the Blue Coat school. We were shown lots of experiments that we could have a go at creating at home too!

Also, a big thank you to year 5 for hosting the science fair- we all really enjoyed it!
