Leaf raking 2019

The heavy autumn rains and then cold weather last week have brought the leaves down quickly this month. Many cover the astro turf on the adventure playground making it slippy and dangerous for the children so Miss Howard's Year six team spent their Thursday afternoon session raking and then moving them.

Lots of the leaves were put on the brushwood pile next to the valley gates so that the mini beasts and hopefull small mammals, such as hedgehogs, can make a cosy winter home.
