Spring 2 Week 6
Date: 8th Apr 2025 @ 11:09am
The Nursery children have had a super busy week of term celebrating Eid, going to church for a lovely Eucharist service, our trip to the farm and finishing the week with our fabulous bunny hop for charity.
The Nursery children had a wonderful morning on Tuesday learning all about Eid and how it is celebrated from Mrs Ahmed. They looked at some traditional outfits, tasted some traditional food and played some party games listening to some traditional Eid music.
On Wednesday the children went on their first trip to Christ Church with the whole school. They did so well walking down to Church and they sat and listened to the service so beautifully.
On Thursday the Nursery children had a wonderful trip to the farm. They fed the animals, went on a tractor ride, stroked the animals in the cuddle corner and had lots of fun playing with their friends!
On Friday the children took part in the sponsored Bunny Hop for charity. They did so well and had so much fun!
In between all of the fun we have had we have also been practising some colour mixing exploring the different colours we can make when we mix the primary colours.
In Phonics we looked at the letter ‘b’ and our Nursery Rhyme for the week was Hickory Dickory Dock.
In Squiggle while you wiggle we have been practising the figure of 8. The children were fantastic at this! We are excited to start thinking about letter formation as part of our Squiggle while you wiggle for those that are ready next half term.
Have a wonderful Easter holidays everyone!
