REQM GOLD for embedding excellent, creative and innovation RE practice throughout the school and for recognition as outstanding in the wider community.

We were the first school in Greater Manchester to achieve plastic free status.

As a school, we have now achieved 15 Green Flags and have had this status since 1999!

Gaining a distinction award shows that we go above and beyond in caring for God's creation.

The Music Mark is awarded to schools who:

• recognise the value of music education as part of a broad and balanced education

• show evidence of a willingness to engage in development conversations related to improving music provision

• have a developed strategy for music in place which provides for all students

Picture News is used to:

• Builds global awareness – helps children learn about real events happening around the world.

• Develops critical thinking – encourages pupils to question, discuss, and explore different viewpoints.

• Gives children a voice – creates opportunities for pupils to share opinions confidently and respectfully.

• Supports emotional development – helps children understand feelings and respond with empathy.

• Links to the curriculum – connects with British Values, protected characteristics, and PSHE learning.

• Inclusive for all learners – accessible resources support SEND pupils and those with additional needs.

We are proud to have a silver Food4Life Award which recognises our commitment to supporting children and their families in developing healthy eating habits.

At our school, we proudly take part in the Walk to School initiative as part of our commitment to being an Eco School. We believe it is important to reduce our carbon footprint and help protect the environment for future generations. And shows daily our Christian value of 'Responsibility'.

It also promotes healthy lifestyles, giving children the opportunity to be active, socialise with friends, and start their day feeling energised and ready to learn.
