Wraparound Care provided by Kickstart
At Kickstart Childcare we provide a home from home nurturing environment providing a range of fun activities for the children to take part in that are decided depending on the interests of the children and in partnership with school leaders.
We’re proud to offer high-quality wraparound care to support our families and enrich our pupils’ school experience. Our Breakfast Club and After School Club provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children before and after the school day.
Breakfast Club
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 7:30am – 9:00am
Start the day right with a warm welcome and a nutritious breakfast. Children enjoy a relaxed morning routine with opportunities to socialise, play, and prepare for the day ahead.
After School Club
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: end of school day – 6:00pm
Children attending our After School Club begin their session with a healthy teatime snack, served in a self-serve style to promote independence, turn-taking, and social interaction—key elements of the EYFS framework.
Our snack menu includes:
Wraps, crackers, pasta, soup, beans on toast, yoghurt
Fresh fruit and water always available
A two-week rotating menu tailored to the seasons
After snack time, children enjoy a variety of engaging activities in a safe and supportive setting.

Our breakfast, aftercare and holiday club setting is based in the main hall. The club has the use of the hall and the school grounds and offers high quality childcare where parents, children and staff work in partnership. Our team of experienced and highly skilled professionals put the needs of children at the heart of everything they do, and our robust inductions and external training mean that staff are continually developing their skills.
Our most recent Ofsted Inspection at another Kickstart Childcare setting recognised the importance of children being happy in our care. This approach is consistent across all our settings.

Kickstart Breakfast Club is open from 7.30am and children move from the club to their classroom ready for the start of the school day.
Kickstart After School Club operates during term-time between 3.15pm – 6.00pm.
Payment can be made on our system via poncho pay which allows Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme, BACS transfer, credit or debit card or childcare vouchers.
