Ideas for extending your home learning:

- NASA have released all of their space photos for you to have a look through- we know we had some budding astonomers during science week - NASA website

- On Jamie Oliver's website are lots of recipes for children to have a go at whilst they are at home- they look very nice! -  Jamie Oliver website

- Times Tables rockstars https://ttrockstars.com/ - remember we are still in a battle with Year 5! We are keeping a close eye on the leaderboard!

- Every day at 11am David Walliams is reading extracts of his books for everyone to listen to https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/

- Have a look at the Twinkl website where you will find lots of great learning resources. Twinkl have made their accounts free to register for parents for 30 days. Have a look at all the brilliant learning opportunities here: https://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/year-6-school-closure-home-learning-resource-pack-t-e-2549915

- During this time, it might be a nice idea to fill a jar with all of the things you hope to do when we are able to explore our areas and our world a little more. For example, today I really wanted a Grandpa Green's ice cream so I would have loved to walk down the canal and sit outside and eat my favourite flavour ice cream! So today, I wrote that down on a post it note and put it in a jar. My jar of adventures for the future!
